The pilgrims who came from Olorún found, coming from Olorún, the town of Barcus, where there was a hermitage of Santiago and a neighborhood called Malta. In this neighborhood, a house housed religious, knights or brothers of San Juan (Urrutibéhéty, 1982); there was also a hermitage of Our Lady of Paradise. All these goods depended on the command of San Juan de Berraute. The path then led to Roquiague, where another encomienda-hospital welcomed the pilgrims.
