Holy Week holds great importance in the town, particularly due to its collection of processional images. The image of Christ on the Cross is a work from the first third of the 17th century. It is a notable piece, distinguished by its Baroque style. The “Prayer in the Garden of Olives” is a procession step from the mid-18th century. Of the same period is the effigy of Christ tied to the column. The images of the Nazarene, Veronica, and Saint John the Evangelist are slightly later, with the first being the most remarkable. The Virgin of Solitude, the titular figure of a side altarpiece on the gospel side, belongs to the first half of the 19th century. 20th-century works include the effigies of Mary Magdalene and, very likely, the recumbent Christ. Overall, the collection is of undeniable quality, making it the most outstanding in the province from this perspective.
