The town is connected to Irún and Pasajes San Juan by a local road, the first section to Irún built in 1865. It had a horse-drawn tram service to Irún, electrified in the second decade of the 20th century. Road to the Higuer lighthouse agreed in 1881.
Airport
It was inaugurated in 1955 in the area called “San Isidoro,” with a runway 1,200 m long. Expansion took place 1959 and 1961, establishing a regular line to Madrid.
