Zumalakarregi, Tomas (1788-1835)

D. Carlos granted his widow, who only counted it with 11 ounces of silver bequeathed by the deceased, the entire salary of lieutenant general and the pension of 2,000 reales to each of the three daughters. By another later decree, he granted the deceased the first class greatness of Spain with the titles of Duke of Victoria and Count of Zumacárregui, for himself, his children and legitimate descendants. His three daughters having died without succession, said honors and appointments fell to his great-nephew, José Manuel de Orá Aizquivel, Elorza and Zumalacárregui.
