Madrid. The residence and church of San Fermín de los Navarros, in Madrid, were inaugurated on July 6 and 7, 1890 with a solemn Pontifical Mass of the Ilthmus. Mr. D. Antonio Ruiz Cabal, Bishop of Pamplona. Since January 17, 1892, both have been administered by the Franciscan priests by assignment from the Royal Congregation of San Ferm n de los Navarros. This residence had an interprovincial character and was the residence of the Superior General until 1927, when it was transferred to the Convent of San Francisco el Grande. But by decision of the General Definitory of the Order on April 22, 1933, it became dependent, as an annexed part, on the Franciscan province of Cantabria. In 1933 he had 11 parents and 3 laymen.
