En el curso 1970-1971 tenía un total de tres unidades escolares, 2 públicas y una de la Iglesia. Asistieron a las mismas 35 niñas y 44 niños. En 1984 hay un centro de primera enseñanza con 78 alumnos y 80 alumnas. Centro San Miguel de Aralar para subnormales profundos.
