Feast of the Idoias. Idoia izenekoen xeiak. The popularity of this beautiful name gave rise to the idea of setting up this festival. The idea was launched during the summer of 1973 by the parish priest of Isaba, Jesús Arbeloa, Mariano Estornés Lasa and other people from Isaba gathered at the Abbey: to pay homage to the Idoias of Isaba with those who came from other places, to the patron saint of Isaba. Previously, during the winter of 1973-74, the women of Isaba made 12 costumes, an exact copy of the old ones worn every year and kept in the Parish Museum. The first festival held on Sunday 30 June was attended by 2,500 people. It is currently held on the first Sunday in July. Restoration work. The parish priest Jesús Arbeloa, with the help of a group of neighbours and the financial contribution of the people of Isaba, including those living abroad, began the work in 1973. Until 1980, the following work was carried out: roof repair, generator, running water with the installation of toilets and a public fountain on the renovated esplanade; installation of benches under the trees, repairs to the hermit's house and outbuildings.
