Peace treaties with Aragon: 1369 and 1370. Both kings, D. Carlos and D. Pedro IV, signed a first treaty on April 30, 1369, exchanging their respective conquests from the last war. The second treaty, signed on February 4, 1370, was more substantial. According to Yanguas:
"They made a new alliance against all their enemies, except the Pope, the kings of France and England, Portugal, Sicily, Granada and Benamar n, the Prince of Wales and his sons and the Earl of Fox; the latter for the one of Aragon, and for the one of Navarre the same and the dukes of Durazo and Brittany. They agreed that if Don Enrique de Castilla made war against Aragon or Navarre, they would help each other with all their power; that if any town or castle of Aragon was besieged there should be no battle, the king of Navarre should help Don Pedro with his own person and power; that if he was impeded he should send his standard, and that Don Pedro should do the same if Don Enrique de Castilla besieged any castle in Navarre."
