Historian born in Hernani (Gipuzkoa) in 1967, Koro Muro Arriet has developed a solid and committed professional career in the of culture, heritage and social innovation in the Basque Country. She holds a degree in Geography and History and a Master's degree in Heritage Management, as well as specialised training as an expert in Personal Marketing (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) and as a university specialist in Cultural Landscapes (UNED).

She has complemented her training with courses in areas such as Life Stories (UNED), Design Thinking (Summer University of the Basque Country), Virtual Facilitation (IAF) and People Management (Urcola Consultores), which has allowed her to integrate an innovative, humanistic and ic perspective in her professional practice.

For twelve years she worked at the Euskomedia Foundation, where she dedicated herself to the dissemination of Basque cultural heritage, a task that laid the foundations for her commitment to the enhancement of identity and collective memory.

Since 2014 she has been a member of the team at Eusko Ikaskuntza - Sociedad de Estudios Vascos, where she is responsible for social innovation projects.
