The war with Aragon continues, 1362. After a real war in which the Navarrese seized a rich loot in Aragonese lands, a mock war took place the two neighbours. The shrewd Ceremonious had managed to be named arbitrator France and Navarre, thereby diverting Charles from his pro-Castilian path. The Infante D. Luis and Juan de Grailly, the Captal of Buch, took part in the various skirmishes. On 19 April 1363 the faithful Infante left and reached Murviedro. To give the actions a greater appearance of plausibility, D. Luis had himself taken prisoner, the property of Aragonese and Navarrese in both monarchies was seized, etc.
