She learned the trade of dressmaker in the Usarraga workshop, participating, in her later years, in various design courses. At the age of 25, she opened her San Sebastian boutique. Endowed with a sober and exquisite taste, with simple, functional cuts, neutral colors, fine materials, and without much embellishment, she founded, in the early 1980s, "Kontxu Uzkudun SA" and later "Bagudi SL", a company that designs, produces, and markets (Minimil) women's clothing. She has branches in San Sebastian, Pamplona, Vitoria, and Valencia, with sporadic sales to countries such as Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. She has participated in the Cibeles catwalk and the Gaudí Salon.
