Professor, writer and journalist from Gipuzkoa, born in Errenteria in 1940.
He works in the of Basque, trade unionism, teaching, and journalism. A contributor to Zeruko Argia , he also worked on the early days of the daily Egin , also writing for Ereintza . During the dictatorship, he belonged to the YCW, joining ELA before the transition. He has taught at the Santo Tom s Lyceum in Donostia, at the Ikastola in Iran - where he was director for three years - and at the Azpeitia Secondary School. He is coordinator of the Basque Government's Basque Language Advisory Council and a member of the Editorial Board of Emakunde. First director of the Ereintza theater group, from Errenteria (Gipuzkoa), for which he has written two pieces: A arberen bila (in homage to Andoni Korta) and Jaioko dira berriak . In 1999 he won the Toribio Altzaga Theater Prize for the play Bake biltzarraren ildotik (Euskaltzaindia-Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa, 2000).
In 2005 the Basque Government published her work Mari Karmen Alzueta (1928-1983) and in 2008 the one entitled Xabier Olaskoaga (1918-2006) .
