Ezkerra . Basque nationalist activist born in Herrera (Donostia, Gipuzkoa) on 5 August 1945. He began his political activism in EGI-BATASUNA during his school years, officially joining ETA-MILITAR in 1972, where he remained until 1975, the year in which he was arrested on charges of participating in the attack on Carrero Blanco. Extradited to Oslo in 1977, the year in which he began his activism in EIA and 1984, he played a leading role in the split EE and Nueva Izquierda, which he went on to lead, as well as the Auzolan group somewhat later. He works in the field of publishing (Hordago).
