Politicians and Public Officials

Lili, Ramón María de

Provincial deputy for Gipuzkoa, for the district of Bergara, proclaimed as secretary in November 1880. Elected president in November 1892, renewed as deputy and vice-president in 1905. He was civil governor. On the occasion of the Alcohol Law (1904), he resigned from this post, believing that this law was anti-foral and detrimental to Gipuzkoa. He belonged to the Liga Foral Autonomista. San Sebastian Town Council dedicated one of the city's streets to him. He died in Bergara (Gipuzkoa) in 1921.
