(15th century) [Azkoitia, Deba, Ondarroa?]. She was the mother of Saint Ignatius. There are conjectural reasons for attributing any of the three places listed here in alphabetical order to her. The last of these working hypotheses is that put forward by Fernando del Valle Lersundi in favour of the town of Deba. The arguments he puts forward in his article published in the magazine ‘Deva’, no. 2, 1960, are certainly impressive.
