Chino Bengoa. Pelotari a cesta punta born in Markina, Bizkaia, in 1940. At the age of 15 he was champion of Bizkaia with Ocáriz. He made his professional debut in Palma de Mallorca, where he played for ten months, and then moved to Havana, where he stayed until 1959. He then alternated the winter and summer seasons in the fronton courts of Daitona and Miami with those of Gernika, Durango, Markina and Donibane Lohitzune (San Juan de Luz), respectively. When the Principal Palacio de Barcelona was reopened, he joined the staff.
