Biographical Profile
Son of Bautista and Filomena, he was born in Arguedas (Navarre) on 6 August 1879.
Education
He enrolled at the Veterinary School of Zaragoza for the 1896-1897 academic year, at the age of 16.
For reasons not stated in the records, he did not take two of the five courses in which he had enrolled and only did so in the 1902-03 academic year. On 7 and 12 June 1907, he completed the final examinations and received a grade of Excellent. In September of the same year, he competed for what would now be called the Extraordinary Prize, placing second, which entitled him to receive his diploma free of charge, collected on 6 August 1908 [1].
Professional Activity
He appears to have worked in Tolosa (Gipuzkoa) and in Tierra Estella (Navarre), obtaining a post as Market Inspector in Lodosa (Navarre).
On 21 July 1911, he passed a competitive exam to become Assistant Veterinarian at the Municipal Chemical Laboratory of San Sebastián, with an annual salary of 1,300 pts. On 10 November 1914, he resigned for personal reasons that required him to leave the city, and his subsequent whereabouts are unknown.
