Escritor extremeño del siglo XVI, de origen vasco. Creado marqués de Mirabel por Carlos I en 1535. Autor de Libro de cetrería de caza de azor (Salamanca, 1565). La historiografía clásica lo ha confundido en ocasiones con Francesillo de Zúñiga.
