Personalidad guipuzcoana. Fundador en 1978 y primer presidente de Gautena (Asociación Guipuzcoana de Autismo), recibiendo en 2003 en nombre de la Asociación la Medalla al Mérito Ciudadano del Ayuntamiento de Donostia-San Sebastián. Murió en San Sebastián el 2 de noviembre de 2005.
