Arroyo alavés, afluente del río Alegría por la izquierda. Su cabecera, al sur de Hijana, la constituyen los arroyos de Solaran y de Lopez Marro. Atraviesa los términos de Elburgo, Iruraiz-Gauna y Vitoria-Gasteiz.
