Río en el valle de Baretous (Bearn) que se llamaba antes Larron, nombre que persiste todavía en el de uno de sus puentes, Le Pont Larron. P. Raym. en su art. Vert cita, al hablar de este río, L'aigue aperade Larron 1589. l'aiga de Laro 1538.
