Arroyo guipuzcoano que tributa sus aguas al río Urola por su izquierda. N. a los 43° 16' 45'' N y 1° 28' 35'' E, al SO. del alto Gárate (278 m.), en el término de Getaria, desembocando al E. del de Zumaia.
