Lugar de localización incierta. Entre los años 1135 y 1141 don Blasco de Muniain hace donación al monasterio de Iratxe de un casal en Muniain, de una pieza en Zabaleta y de otra en Sorogarria. Así consta en doc. que obra en el A. G. N. (Doc. Ir. núm. 172).
