Conde de Salinas. Ultimo alcalde mayor de Guipúzcoa, en cuyo oficio sucedió, por renuncia de éste, a su abuelo Diego Gómez Sarmiento, por medio de real cédula fechada en Segovia a 22 de agosto de 1505.
