Militar que luchó como capitán del ejército junto al rey en Flandes y en Hondarribia. En 1598 obtuvo el derecho a asiento en Cortes, siendo llamado a las reuniones de 1600. Se casó con Catalina de Huarte, señora del palacio de Eransus.
