Sacerdote navarro, canónigo de la catedral de Pamplona en 1626, capellán del rey. En 1646 es nombrado arcediano de cámara, siendo comisionado varias veces para defender intereses del cabildo ante el rey Felipe IV y ante el Consejo de Navarra.
