Religioso de San Millán de La Cogolla y abad de Leire, en 1025 es nombrado obispo de Nájera y XVIII° de Pamplona. En 1046 fundó el Monasterio de Escaroz y en 1062 consta su asistencia al Concilio de Jaca y San Juan de La Peña, muriendo este año. Ref. Geografía General del País Vasco-Navarro, t. 1.
