Atleta guipuzcoano nacido e1 16 de febrero de 1940 en Donostia-San Sebastián. Primer velocista vasco en descender oficialmente de 11 segundos en el hectómetro (10.9 en 1958 y 1960). Plusmarquista vasco 4 veces en 200 metros en 1958 (entre 22.6 y 22.4).
