Diputado General de Vizcaya en 1752. En 1764 fue encargado de organizar las tropas del regimiento de Cantabria, en agradecimiento de lo cual el Señorío le regaló, junto a D. Domingo del Barco, un espadín con las armas de Vizcaya.
