Abogado del Real Consejo de Navarra. En 1850, acabó de escribir su obra en la que habla de la expedición de Viana y de lo que pasó entre el mariscal y el conde de Lerín. Según él mismo relata, se decidió a escribir esto en vista de la mala información que sobre Navarra daba Garibay.
