Club deportivo y social para el fomento de la equitación fundado en 1916 en la capital guipuzcoana bajo los auspicios del rey Alfonso XIII. Tuvo su sede primitivamente en el hipódromo de Lasarte y en los arenales de Ondarreta, pasando posteriormente a instalarse en el barrio de Loiola.
