Benefactora de origen vasco nacida en Madrid en 1556 y muerta en 1626. Reformó la Orden de la Merced. Fundó varios conventos entre ellos el de las Carmelitas Descalzas de Alcalá de Henares. Vivió sus últimos días como carmelita muriendo en olor de santidad.
