Sus edificios se asientan sobre terreno de micritas arcillosas y limosas. Al N. de los mismos aparece terreno constituido por arenas y areniscas con lentejones de gravas. El monte Manzanar, enclavado al E. de la localidad, está formado por micritas arcillosas y limosas.
