Aizkolari guipuzcoano natural de Errezil. En las Fiestas Eúskaras celebradas en Zumarraga en 1899 participó en la segunda tanda. Debían cortar dos troncos de 14 pulgadas; venció en la prueba José María Otegui con un tiempo de 3 minutos y 16 segundos.
