Río alavés. Afluente por la derecha del Zubialde. Nace a 630 m. de altitud al O. del Arcaduy (714 m.s.n.m.) en el punto de coordenadas: long. 0° 54' 50"; lat. 42° 58' 57", término de Cigoitia. Recibe por la derecha las aguas del arroyo de Ayurdin.
