Tesorero general de España y tesorero general de Carlos V, en Flandes. Formó parte de la comisión formada en las Juntas Generales de Bergara en 1549 para entrevistarse con el Emperador Carlos I a fin de tratar del asunto de las hidalguías guipuzcoanas.
