Personalidad vizcaína de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Riojano de origen, comerciante, fue Síndico del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao en 1844 y en 1857-58. Prior del Real Tribunal de Comercio en 1856 y presidente de la «Sociedad Bilbaína» en el bienio 1854-55.
