Pelotari vizcaíno; puntista, nació en 1946 en Bilbao. Aprendió a jugar en la escuela de Durango y debutó en el frontón Club Deportivo de Bilbao el 6 de marzo de 1968. Ha jugado también en el frontón de Durango y en el Orlando de Florida.
