Personalidad alavesa del siglo XVI, natural de Salvatierra. Colegial mayor de la iglesia de San Ildefonso de Alcalá de Henares y canónigo magistral, fue fundador del Colegio de ésta ciudad castellana. Fundó en su villa natal una cátedra de gramática. Murió en 1550.
