Antiguo monasterio alavés, situado en el valle de Zuia. Esta fue una de las donaciones que hizo Doña María López de Estíbaliz al monasterio de Nájera en 1138. (Ref. Ramiro de Pinedo: El Santuario de Santa María de Estíbaliz Madrid, 1940, p. 22).
