Naviero vizcaíno que en 1917 solicitó permiso para construir un astillero en la jurisdicción de Mendexa, en la ría de Lekeitio. Es así como en el año 1918 en Lekeitio son botadas 1.420 toneladas en barcos, gracias a Domingo Mendieta y a otros.
