Prelado de la diócesis de Calahorra, desde octubre de 1701 hasta 1714. Palentino, fue magistral de León y tuvo la dignidad de penitenciario en la iglesia de Toledo, antes de suceder en la sede de Calahorra al cardenal Francisco de Borja.
