Benefactor, nació en Alegia (Gipuzkoa) y murió en 1886. Era coronel graduado de infantería pero su personalidad destacó en la beneficencia de la que fueron favorecedores los pobres, las comunidades religiosas, las iglesias y el pueblo de Alegia.
