Asociación francesa fundada en 1927. En 2003 contaba con 1200 miembros en toda Francia. Uno de sus comités regionales tiene su sede en Anglet (Lapurdi); está presidido por Jean-Pascal Dulau, viajero y gran conocedor del Sahara. Publican la revista trimestral "Le Saharien".
