Monte de su nombre en la antigua anteiglesia de San Vicente de Abando (Bizkaia) paraje alto del camino y muelle de Allende el Puente a Ibaizábal. Junto a este paraje de tránsito, antes de llegar a los molinos de Isleta, había en el siglo XVII unas muy nombradas ferrerías o noques.
