Militante clandestino. Donostiarra. Fue uno de los fundadores de ETA en 1959-1960 y tuvo que exiliarse. En enero de 1965 fue asimismo objeto de un juicio por los tribunales franceses tras el cual marchó a Argelia donde permaneció hasta la muerte de Franco.
