Musicólogo vizcaíno. Nació en Durango el 2 de noviembre de 1865 y murió en Mutriku el 7 de septiembre de 1900. El P. Luis Villalba, agustino, escribió sobre él y su obra el libro titulado Estética y crítica musical del Padre Eustaquio de Iriarte. Barcelona, 1921.
