Diputado provincial de Gipuzkoa, proclamado en mayo de 1887; elegido Diputado-Secretario en abril de 1891. De nuevo diputado electo en mayo de 1911; renovado en 1913. A continuación pasó a ser alcalde de San Sebastián.
