Voluntario de la guerrilla navarra, al mando de Francisco Espoz y Mina, en la lucha contra la invasión napoleónica. Fue fusilado en junio de 1812 por intentar evadirse estando prisionero de los franceses. Ref. "Memorias de Espoz y Mina".
