Villa en el antiguo reino de Aragón cuya iglesia fue donada por Sancho Ramírez al monasterio de Leire el 28 de enero de 1085. La posesión del monasterio de Igal, también donado a Leire, la confirma el rey contra las pretensiones de Jimeno Garceiz de la villa de Huesa.
